Kid's Programs/Ski School
Program: Child Care
Age Range: 10 weeks to 5 years
Description: Our child care facilities are licensed by the State of Maine Department of Human Services and are staffed with professional, fun-loving people whose goal is to make your child's vacation, and in turn, your vacation, delightful! Our program is for children from 10 weeks to 5 years of age.
Program: Mooseketeers
Age Range: 3 years
Description: A fun-filled, positive first experience on skis! Willing 3-year olds are introduced to the slopes through special games and personalized instruction in a 45 minute private coaching session (first timers and less experienced skiers), or by joining Mountain Magic for a 1 - 2 hour morning group session (toilet trained three year olds who have skied before). Lunch, snacks, lift ticket, and ski rental equipment are included. Reservations required.
Program: Mountain Magic
Age Range: 3 - 6 years
Description: So you want your children to learn how to ski? We do too! We provide your kids with a unique learning environment that fosters independent skiing. In fact, most first timers will be skiing under their own power after the first day. Half and full day programs are available. The full day program includes lots of skiing, indoor activities, snack and a hot lunch. Lift passes are included in both sessions.
Program: Mountain Adventure
Age Range: 7 - 14 years
Description: This program is specifically designed for children ages 7 - 14 and provides coaching for all skiing and snowboarding abilities. Half day and full day programs are available. The full day program includes lots of skiing/riding and a hot lunch. The Mountain Adventure Program is located in the Children's Center in the lowest level of the Base Lodge. If rentals are needed, a coach will outfit your child in the Children's Center rental shop. Please have your child in by 9:00AM for the morning session if she/he is renting equipment.
