Program: Friendly Penguin Day Care
Age Range: 12 weeks to 6 years

Description: The Friendly Penguin Day Care provides indoor and optional outdoor activities at The Rams Head Family Center. The Friendly Penguin Day Care programs offer state-licensed and fully equipped facilities with age appropriate toys and games. Throughout the day, children can explore and play in a nurturing environment that promotes creativity, physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Time is provided each day for arts and crafts, painting, stories, and songs. The Program includes snacks, and a nutritious lunch. Parents should provide a change of clothing, diapers, wipes, and formula and/or food if special dietary needs exist.

Program: First Tracks
Age Range: 2 - 6 years

Description: The First Tracks Program combines the Friendly Penguin daycare with outdoor on-snow sessions designed to introduce children to skiing or other outdoor activities. We customize our outdoor sessions to your child based on their developmental and enthusiasm level. We have a specially contoured terrain garden (connected to our daycare entrance) where we can introduce your child to skis and start them sliding and gliding or just provide them with a fun outdoor play session. For more advanced children we will take them to one of our two Magic Carpets, tow handles or chairlift all located at the Rams Head Family Center. Our introduction to all the fun provides the perfect combination of outdoor play and indoor action. The children spend approximately 1 hour per outdoor session on the snow. Program options include a full day of day care with one (AM) outdoor learning session; a full day of day care with two (AM & PM) outdoor learning sessions Please provide a change of indoor clothing.

Program: Ministars
Age Range: 4 - 6 years

Description: Ministars is an innovative program that teaches your children to enjoy the sports of skiing and snowboarding in a safe, fun and educational environment. Participation in snow sports can be a lifelong family activity that promotes independence, strengthens family ties and celebrates the outdoors. Since skiing and snowboarding can also be lifelong personal activities, we at Ministars invite you to relax knowing that our staff will make every effort to ensure that your child's experiences in snow sports will be safe, enjoyable, and positive. While your kids benefit from ski and snowboard clinics designed just for them, you will have some personal time to embrace all that Killington has to offer. First timers and beginners will have the opportunity to ski and play. They alternate between being out in small groups with their coaches and participating in specially designed activities with our indoor/outdoor snow sports activity staff. This way, beginners get more personal time practicing the basics. Skiers & riders who can already link turns and control their speed on green terrain will be on the mountain with their coaches the entire lesson time.

Ministars & Lowriders meet at our Rams Head Family Center. Rams Head caters to all your family needs with a retail shop specializing in children's wear, rentals for all ages, tickets sales, cafeteria and child care. Rams Head features an extensive trail network of novice and intermediate terrain that lets beginners get their start, while more advanced skiers and riders can cut it up. All these thrills are serviced by two Magic Carpets, two handle-tows and a high speed quad chairlift, which provides quick access to the rest of the mountain. There are also aprŠs-ski midweek activities including the popular Ice Cream Sundae Party, a Magic Show and a Puppet Show - and they're all absolutely free! In short, kids have a place all their own in Ministars at the Rams Head Lodge.

Program: Superstars
Age Range: 7 - 12 years

Description: All Superstar Lessons meet daily from Mid-November to early April at Ramshead Base Lodge. Morning and Full-Day lessons meet at 9:00 AM. Afternoon lessons meet at 12:45 PM. Morning lessons end at 11:30 and Afternoon and Full-Day lessons end at 3:00 PM. This program is geared towards kids of all ability levels. First, kids are placed into groups according to ability ranging from first timers to advanced levels. We offer up to seven different levels daily, assuring your child will receive instruction geared toward their needs. Then, we use our Perfect Turn ski and snowboard school approach to turn them onto a lifetime of skiing and riding. Special Ski Week activities include the popular Ice Cream Sundae Party, a Magic Show and a Puppet Show - and they're all absolutely free.

Program: Snowzone
Age Range: 13 - 18 years

Description: The SnowZone program meets daily at the Ramshead Family Center. This unique program offers lessons for young adults ages 13-18 on skiing and snowboarding. Offering either half or full-day lessons (lunch included for full-days). SnowZone is designed to engage teens in diverse on-snow learning activities while also providing an indoor and outdoor environment for them to meet and interact with their peers. Full day participants gather together at lunch with their pros providing additional social group time. Half-day sessions meet at 9:15 am and 12:45pm. Full day sessions also meet at 9:15 and include lunch. SnowZone lessons meet daily from Mid-November to early April at Ramshead base Lodge. On snow time starts promptly at 9:30am and 1:00pm. The AM program ends at 11:30am and the full day and PM program ends at 3:00pm.
