The Lake Placid Summit Hotel Resort & Suites is a good lodging option for travelers looking for basic accommodations at an affordable price. The hotel is conveniently located just steps from Lake Placid's Main Street with all its shops, restaurants and activities, and is also located one half-mile from the Olympic Center. Each guest room features private bath, cable TV, clock radio, hair dryer and coffee maker. Each room consists of two double beds or a king bed. There are also two-room suites with one king or two double beds in each room. The hotel is located approximately ten miles from the Whiteface ski area. Free Town Shuttle available to slopes at Whiteface Mountain.
