Mother Nature is very good to Jay Peak. Because of the mountain's unique
location and geographical features, Jay Peak gets more snow than anywhere else
in New England (twice as much as many resorts). Located in Northern Vermont,
Jay Peak is just a short drive from the Canadian border, attracting skiiers

that includes Ripcord, Mount Snow's steepest trail and one of the steepest in

Lift Line) which are arguably the most exciting runs in the East. For the
