Dear
Ski Enthusiast,
Hello out there in internet land! Well, the calendar
may say Halloween, but one look out the window and
it sure looks more like Thanksgiving doesn’t
it. Lots of resorts have been cranking up the snow
guns this week in anticipation of getting open in
the next couple of weeks, assuming this trend toward
colder temps continues.
We’re back this week with some great specials
for you that are all treats and no tricks, and not
a turkey among them! OK, ok, so they pay me to sell
ski trips, not write flowery prose, but you get
the idea. Check out our 5
night midweek special at Gore Mountain, “Any

A few words about a couple of these specials that
are near and dear to my heart. This is the first
time you will have seen the words “Gore Mountain”
in one of these bi-weekly missives. We have just
added Gore to our resort lineup, and could not be
happier about it. Gore is a real up and coming resort,
so get there while people will still be asking,
“you went where on your ski trip?” Trust
me, the word on Gore will soon be out.
Our “March
through Maine” Ski Week that we are doing
with our friends at Snow East Magazine is something
that we are very excited about. Many former guests
have asked us to bring back our escorted trip programs.
We hear and obey. This one will be a great way to
get things going. Three great mountains,
two fabulous hotels, long Western style runs in
the March sunshine, and lots of fun and new friends.
What’s not to like?!?!
Lastly, before our IT guys cut me off here, I want
to remind everyone about our new “Low
Deposit/Low Risk” reservation policy.
In effect through November 26th, it’s our
way of trying to take some of the stress
out of booking your ski vacation. I think
that covers it for this week. Have a safe and fun
Halloween everyone. Remember only a couple of weeks
until those first turns, so not too much candy now!
